Oyo State Civil Service Recruitment Aptitude Test Date Revealed.

The Oyo State Civil Service Commission has announced that out of over 15,000 qualified applicants, only 900 candidates will be recruited into various positions across ministries, departments, and agencies in the state.

Speaking in Ibadan on Friday, the commission’s chairman, Kamoru Aderibigbe, disclosed that a computer-based test has been scheduled to assess the competence of the candidates. The tests will run from Monday to Thursday next week.

Application Breakdown

According to Mr. Aderibigbe, the commission initially received 22,235 applications via its online job portal. However, only 15,000 applicants met the specified requirements. The final selection will involve filling positions across 60 cadres in the civil service.

Test Schedule

To ensure efficiency, the applicants have been divided into two groups based on their intended roles:

  • Monday and Tuesday: Tests for those applying as education officers, environmental health personnel, social welfare officers, and youth officers.
  • Thursday: Tests for other cadres.

Examination Guidelines

Applicants have been instructed to adhere strictly to examination protocols:

  • Bring printed copies of their application form and invitation slip.
  • Avoid bringing phones and other electronic devices to the venue.
  • Arrive promptly at the indicated time on their invitation slip.

Mr. Aderibigbe added that invitation letters had been sent to successful applicants. He encouraged those who had not received their letters to remain hopeful, as invitations are ongoing.
