Abubakar Malami Makes First Public Appearance Since Leaving Office
Former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), has surfaced in the public eye for the first time since stepping down from his influential role.
Hailing from Kebbi state, Malami wielded significant authority during the recent administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
His reemergence occurred during a visit to the Government House in Birnin Kebbi, where he congratulated his state’s governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, on a victorious legal battle at the Court of Appeal in Abuja.

As one of the early visitors to extend congratulations, Abubakar Malami shared his perspective with journalists, characterizing Governor Idris’s triumph as well-deserved.
In his words, “The victory of Governor Idris is a clear indication that he is the right person to rule this state.”
He expressed hope that the verdict would inspire the governor to intensify efforts in various sectors such as agriculture, health, education, and security.
