The All Progressives Congress (APC), announced on Wednesday that Adamu Garba, a former candidate for president of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) had been chosen to serve as the co-chairman of the National Bola Tinubu-Kashim Shettima Unity Cup’s finance and budget committee.
This online newspaper gathered that, Garba, who provided this update via his verified Twitter account, said the project was designed to find football players who might go on to shine in Europe.

“I was appointed as the Co-Chairman of the Finance and Budget committee of the upcoming football tournament at the strategic meeting of the National Tinubu-Shettima Unity Cup under the leadership of Distinguished Senator Tanko Almakura and technical direction of Daniel Amokachi (the bull),” Garba said.
The goal is to mobilize the entire nation through a series of intrastate and interstate football competitions, which is a hallmark of grassroots campaigns.

“In the end, talent might be found and suggested for a position at one of the top European clubs.
