Ahead of the 2023 election, President Buhari has announced two new appointments.
This Online Newspaper gathered that President Muhammadu Buhari gave his approval on Thursday for Mallam Shekarau Dauda Omar to be reappointed to his position as the executive director of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in the Bank of Industry (BOI).

Mabel Ndagi and Mallam Shekarau Dauda Omar have both recently been promoted to the position of executive director at the BOI.
This will most likely be one of the president’s final appointments before his second term as president comes to a close in 2023.
There was a statement released by Ifedayo Sayo, who is the Special Assistant on Media to the Minister at the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment. In the statement, the reappointment was mentioned.

According to the statement, Omar will continue to serve for another four years after having his previous term, which is scheduled to end on March 5, 2023.
Omar, it has been gathered, has repositioned the SME directorate by performing a remarkable expansion of the portfolio and a significant improvement in the quality of risk assets.
Additionally, the president gave his approval to Mabel Ndagi’s appointment as executive director of the BOI, which will take effect on March 19th, 2023.

Toyin Adeniji is currently serving her second and final term as director, and Ndagi will take over for her as she prepares to retire.
The newly recruited individual will serve as the General Manager of Government and External Communications for the financial institution.
