APC Christians endorse Peter Obi
Some members of the Northern All Progressives Congress have given their support to Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.
This support was given under the auspices of the Aggrieved Northern APC Christians.
The organisation stated in a statement titled “Why we have chosen to endorse the Obi/Datti ticket” that it arrived at the decision to support the Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi and his running mate Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed after a painstaking review and analysis of the alternative tickets.
The statement was signed by one of the group’s leaders, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal.
The group said that the APC’s Muslim-Muslim ticket is a deliberate and well-calculated plan to sow a seed of religious discord among Nigerians, and they added that Northerners are the intended target of their plan.
They described the APC’s Muslim-Muslim ticket as satanic.

It advised against voting for the APC presidential candidate Bola Tinubu, whom it described as a well-known Yoruba-hegemonist and who championed the establishment of a Ministry of Regional Integration in each state government of the South-west geopolitical region.
It also advised against voting for Kashim Shettima, the APC’s running mate, whom they quoted as saying, “restructuring my foot, let us restructure our minds.”
The organisation has stated that it believes the Obi/Datti ticket will provide Nigeria with a breath of fresh air and the greatest opportunity to redeem the country from the quagmire into which it has been plunged by a reoccurring group of self-centered reactionaries.
This quagmire has been caused by a group of self-centered reactionaries who have been at the helm of Nigerian politics for quite some time.
