Obasanjo visits Wike in Rivers
Olusegun Obasanjo, a former president, and Kayode Fayemi, a former governor of Ekiti State, paid a visit to Nyesom Wike, who is currently the governor of Rivers State.

The visit by Obasanjo is the most recent in a string of trips to the rural residence of Wike made by politicians from a variety of political parties.
Wike, who is a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, has been at odds with the leadership of the main opposition party ever since the presidential primary of the PDP, which resulted in Atiku Abubakar being selected as the party’s candidate for president.

Iyorchia Ayu, the current chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has been the target of criticism from Governor Nyesom Wike and the other governors in the G5 faction of the PDP.
