Aregbesola Begs Oyetola For Forgiveness, Blames Devil For Quarrel
Rauf Aregbesola has asked for forgiveness from former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and others who may have been offended by his actions over the past four years.
Aregbesola, who served as governor of Osun from 2010 to 2018, handed over power to Oyetola, who served as his chief of staff from 2010 to 2018.
He opposed Oyetola’s reelection and faulted the party’s elders for not reprimanding him for reversing his policies.

Aregbesola visited the palaces of Owa Obokun, Oba Gabriel Aromolaran, and Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun prior to addressing his supporters at Nelson Mandela Freedom Park via Old Garage in Osun State’s capital, Osogbo.
The former minister praised President Buhari for giving him the opportunity to serve in Yoruba. He also praised President Bola Tinubu for assisting him in fulfilling his destiny and entrusting him with power.
According to him, “I have not returned to Osun because of animosity or acrimony, but rather for the reconciliation of our party.” I have come here to beg forgiveness from anyone who has been offended by me. Today’s acclaim for my achievements in Osun is a result of the excellent work I performed while in government. Those who have since become my enemies and I worked together in government.
“I thank God for introducing me to the world through President Bola Tinubu; he is the architect of my success.” I served as commissioner in Lagos for eight years. In 2004, we met in Badagry to discuss how we will seize control of our states from the opposition party. President Tinubu and other Yoruba elders instructed me to come and seize control of the opposition in Osun State.

“With the assistance of God and Asiwaju, I was able to excel as a Governor for eight years, although it was not easy with the assistance of those who became my enemies for four years.”
“In 2019, after the Supreme Court’s ruling, I came to this location with the individual to whom I transferred power. I advised that I had done my part and turned the situation over to the person I loved.
However, I stated that the individual must do it properly by ensuring party unity. If this is accomplished, I will become the godfather. However, Satan dominated their interpretation of what I said. I never begged them for anything when he was in charge.
“I am stating this today and pleading for forgiveness. After this, we will never again beg anyone for anything. We didn’t offend anyone and we don’t believe anyone offended us, but it’s possible they believe we offended them, so we’re apologizing.
