Nigerian superstar Burnaboy has emerged as the winner of the Best International Act award at the 2023 edition of the Black Entertainment Awards (BET).
The acclaimed “African Giant” artist triumphed over competitors such as Ayra Starr, Central Cee, and Stormzy, among others, securing the most prestigious category of the BET awards.

Although Burna Boy was present at the event when his name was announced as the victor, his mother, Bose Ogulu, accepted the award on his behalf.
Burnaboy’s recent years have been nothing short of extraordinary. His 2022 album, “Love, Damini,” achieved global success, and he had previously won a BET Award in the same category in both 2019 and 2021.
