Boko Haram Commander, Abu Rajab, Killed in Sambisa Forest Clash
Bama, Borno State: A high-profile Boko Haram commander, Abu Rajab, and three other insurgents have been killed in the Sambisa Forest during a joint operation by the military and civilian militia.
The fatal exchange took place at the Bula Daloje area of Bama Local Government Area on Saturday. According to intelligence sources, members of the troop came under heavy gunfire from the terrorists and returned same with an exchange of gunfire.

Despite the ambush, security forces quashed the attack and recovered two AK-47 rifles and one mobile phone. A civilian militia member lost his life in the process.
