The Borno State Primary Health Care Development Agency (SPHCDA) is an autonomous agency of the Borno State Government established in 2013 to improve the quality of primary healthcare delivery to the people and to develop strategic public health policies for the state. The Agency was eventually established by Governor Kashim Shettima’s administration.

We collaborate with the Local Government Departments of Primary Health Care to deliver services to the most remote parts of the state, we oversee the recruitment, discipline, and promotion of Primary Healthcare Personnel in the state, and we collaborate with International Healthcare organisations that want to intervene in the state by tailoring their programmes and projects to the people of Borno State.

Remunerations are those obtained in the Borno State Civil Service.
