Breaking: Bandits Kidnap School Children In Northern State
Bandits have abducted school children in Nasarawa state.
Unknown gunmen reportedly stormed LGEA Primary School, Alwaza, in Alwaza community, Doma LGA of Nasarawa State, in the early hours of Friday, January 20, and abducted scores of schoolchildren.

The abductors, who kidnapped an unspecified number of primary school students, reportedly laid siege to the school while the children were arriving for class, according to Vanguard.
The whereabouts of the students and their kidnappers are still unknown.
DSP Rahman Nansel, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Nasarawa State Command, has reportedly confirmed the incident.

According to the Police Command, a joint team of police, military, and vigilantes has been formed to track down the abductors, who are said to be riding motorcycles.
