Court remands ex-Imo deputy gov, Gerald Irona in prison
On Thursday, a Magistrates’ court in Owerri, Imo State, remanded the former deputy governor of the state, Gerald Irona, to prison.

After hearing the prosecution and defense attorneys, the presiding magistrate, C. N. Ezerioha, ordered Irona to be remanded to the Owerri correctional facility.

She further stated that the court lacks the authority to hear the case.

Meanwhile the Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo has stated that all Anambra people should vote APGA or they face the repercussions of getting nothing from his government.
The governor urged the people to support all APGA candidate adding that if other candidates from other party emerges, all that would be gotten would only be salaries.

The governor further stated that the candidate wouldn’t have access to him as they would be restrictions and all that would be gotten would only be salaries thereby hindering possible development in the community been represented.
