BREAKING: Court scraps Ondo LCDAs
An Ondo State High Court sitting in Akure has scrapped the 33 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) established by the late former Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s administration.
In a landmark ruling, Presiding Judge Justice A.O. Adebusoye declared the creation of the LCDAs as unconstitutional and illegal. According to Justice Adebusoye, the LCDAs were not established in accordance with the law, rendering their existence null and void.
