It has been claimed that the government has taken possession of Peter Obi’s campaign Jet in Lagos.
This Online Newspaper reports that the Federal Government of Nigeria has taken possession of a jet that was being utilized by the flagbearer of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, and his supporters for campaigning throughout the country.

The authorities refused to let Obi fly to Ibadan for a campaign rally that was supposed to take place there because they cited “Regulatory” reasons for the decision to ground the plane.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Diran Onifade, who serves as the media director for the Obi-Datti campaign, acknowledged the new information.
He stated that “for regulatory reasons only,” the powers that be decided to keep the Obidient jet on the ground today.
Please disregard any malicious rumours that have circulated. Our extremely large rally in Ibadan is proceeding just as intended.

In the meantime, fans of Obi who are commonly referred to as “Obidients” were spotted on key roadways in Ibadan brandishing banners and dressed in shirts and caps that had been customised by the Labour Party.
As supporters of the party form a single queue outside the stadium before being screened into the main event area, the security inside and around Adamasingba Stadium, the location of the rally, is likewise top-notch.
As the supporters wait for Obi and Datti to arrive, the atmosphere is joyful, and music can be heard playing in the background.
There are already some party chieftains and candidates for the Labour Party from the Southwest at the location where the event is being held.
