Gunmen kidnap Ondo monarch
The 66-year-old Oloso of Oso, Ajowa- Akoko, in the Akoko North-West Council area, Oba Clement Jimoh Olukotun, has been kidnapped by gunmen.
According to information gathered by this online newspaper, the six gunmen entered his palace on Thursday at around 10.15 p.m. and took him to an unidentified location.

Before entering the monarch’s bedroom, they allegedly shot randomly and broke the palace’s main door.
Several shots were fired at the palace doors, according to a source inside the palace, before the robbers were able to enter the royal chambers.
He claims that when they arrived, they surrounded the structure and began yelling at the monarch and other residents to open the door and voluntarily submit, but nobody responded.

Gunmen kidnap Ondo monarch – Police Statement
When contacted, Funmi Odunlami, a police spokesperson, confirmed the monarch’s kidnapping.
It is true, but the specifics of the incident are still unclear, according to Odunlami, who added that police from the Akoko Northwest Local Government Area’s Oke-Agbe Divisional Police Headquarters have been sent to the town to begin an investigation.
