NNPC Announces New Fuel Price Across States in the federation
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has set the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as fuel or petrol, at its highest point between N488 and N555 per litre.
This comes just hours after Nigerian President Bola Tinubu halted the removal of fuel subsidies.

On Wednesday morning, NNPC members gathered in accordance with a decision made by management during the meeting, the NNPC PMS pump price table for Mega/Standard/Leased Stations will be increased. This decision directs all petroleum product retailers to adjust their retail prices across states.
Prior to now, there were rumours that the fuel price would be determined at a later date. However, the new table of retail prices for different geopolitical zones of the country has been released by management, which has instructed marketers to implement the changes immediately beginning on May 31, 2023.
