I wish I’d done more – Alkali resigns as NNPP chairman
Prof. Rufai Alkali, the National Chairperson of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has resigned from his position.
In a letter to the party’s national secretary, Alkali reaffirmed this.
He claimed that the reason he chose to leave was to make place for a new leader to move in.
“I am certain that I must be the first to change.
“For this reason, I have made the responsible decision to resign from my position as our party’s national chairman in order to provide place for new leadership that will build upon and enhance our modest efforts.
