Gunmen attack PDP campaign rally in Enugu
A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign rally was attacked by unidentified gunmen on Wednesday in Enugu State, resulting in at least one death and numerous injuries.

This online newspaper was informed by a source that the attackers broke into the PDP’s Awgu Ward 1 campaign office and started shooting at party members.
Engr. Osita Ngwu, the PDP senatorial candidate, Chief Anayo Onwuegbu, the House of Representatives candidate for the Awgu/Aninri/Oji-River Federal Constituency, as well as numerous other candidates and party members, all attended the tragic Enugu West rally.
