Currently, a fire is destroying the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State, BCOS.
Equipment in the studio may have suffered significant damage as a result of the fire, which is alleged to have originated from the studio area.

According to the source, efforts to contain the situation were underway and the state fire department had been invited.

Meanwhile, Daniel Ogoshi, one of Nasarawa’s Deputy Governor Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe drivers, has reportedly been kidnapped.
At around 9:30 pm, on Ombi 2, College of Agriculture, Kwandere Road in the centre of Lafia, the driver was allegedly abducted from the home of one of his friends, leaving his phone and car behind.

According to a family member who corroborated the occurrence in the state capital, he received a call at around 9.35 p.m. informing him that his brother had been abducted. He described the abduction of the driver as regrettable and one too many.
The family acquaintance claimed that after promptly alerting the police, who were dispatched to the area, they found that the kidnappers had already left with the victim.
When reached, Nasarawa State Command Police Public Relations Officer DSP Ramhan Nansel verified the occurrence and stated that the Command was looking for the kidnappers.

The Command was still doing adequate verification of the circumstances surrounding the driver’s kidnapping, according to the PPRO, who declined to comment further on the subject.
Recall that Onje Gye Wado, a former deputy governor of the state, was recently kidnapped at his rural home of Wamba.
