PDP suspends Top Bigwigs, Fayose, Pius Anyim, others
Ayodele Fayose, a former governor of Ekiti State, Pius Anyim, a former senate president, Prof. Dennis Ityavyar, and Aslam Aliyu have all been placed on administrative leave by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) due to alleged anti-party activities.
The development was detailed in a statement released on Thursday by Debo Ologunagba, the PDP’s national publicity secretary.

In accordance with the terms of the PDP Constitution (as amended in 2017), “the suspension, which takes effect on Thursday, was arrived at after an extensive review of the party’s affairs.”
Samuel Ortom, the governor of Benue State, was also reported to the National Disciplinary Committee by the main opposition party for allegedly engaging in anti-party activities.
“The PDP urges all leaders, critical stakeholders and teeming members of our party across the country to remain united and focused at this critical time,” the statement added.
Meanwhile, the former deputy senate President Ike Ekrewamadu, his wife Beatrice and their daughter Sonia have been found guilty of Human Trafficking after a 6-week trail.
