Popular Nollywood actor, Sunday Olamilekan Ojo dies of lung cancer
Sunday Olamilekan Ojo, better known by his stage name Gbatami, was a well-known actor in the Nigerian film industry. He has passed away.
On Thursday morning, it was reported that Gbatami had passed away due to complications from lung cancer.

The late Sunday Ojo was a pupil of Adebayo Salami, more often known as Oga Bello, and had almost twenty years of experience working in the film industry.
He was the producer of a number of movies, including Ojo Oro, Emi nire kan, Wonyosi, and Salaye, amongst others.

Following the news of the death of the well-known actor Sunday, there has been an outpouring of condolences.

On Friday, actress Sheyi Adelakun said in the caption of one of her Instagram stories, “I had the wonderful honour of acting alongside this wonderful man.”

“His tales were the most interesting. “Rest in peace, Lekan,” one of the person’s fans posted on social media.
Colleague Aina Olayemi posted a photo of herself and the late actor on her Instagram account along with the caption, “Working with him was a joy.”
