Raymond Dokpesi, Chairman of DAAR Communications, has been set free in London, which is located in the United Kingdom.
On Sunday, the business magnate was taken into custody by the law enforcement officials.

Dokpesi was picked up at Terminal 2 of Heathrow Airport after flying from Frankfurt to London on flight LH916, operated by Lufthansa.
A statement was issued by the management of his company first thing on Monday morning.
It was stated that Dokpesi had arrived in Frankfurt from Abuja and had been invited off the plane before the other passengers disembarked.

Dokpesi was forced to wait for a number of hours at the airport before the officials from British Immigration were able to stamp his passport and let him leave the country.
DAAR has stated that Raymond Dokpesi trip to the United Kingdom is not completely unrelated to the invitation extended by the British government to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, in advance of the election in 2023.
Dokpesi currently serves as the Deputy Director-General of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council’s Technical and Systems Department.
