Isaac Achi: Senate Honours Slain Niger Priest
The Senate observed a moment of silence on Wednesday in memory of the burned-to-death Niger priest Isaac Achi who was killed in the Paikoro Local Government area of Niger State.

Achi served as the Reverend Father in charge of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kafin Koro, Kafin Koro Deanery of the Minna Diocese of Niger State until his untimely death.
Senator Sani Musa of Niger-East raised the point of order and cited Orders 42 and 51 to ask the Senate for permission to present a motion regarding the brutal murder of Rev. Father Isaac Achi.

The Senate then expressed its condolences to the deceased’s family and the bishop of the Minna Diocese before holding a moment of silence in their memory.
