A resident, speaking to *Vanguard* anonymously, stated, “Soldiers and some youths have stormed our community, shooting at anything in sight. They parked their boats at Okoloba and arrived on foot. Our makeshift tents are being destroyed.”
The situation remains tense as residents flee for safety, with many reportedly unable to locate family members. “Everyone is in disarray; I can’t find my child. Why are we being treated like this?” the distraught resident added.

This escalation follows an incident on March 14, where individuals, allegedly dressed in military uniforms, were involved in the killing of soldiers and civilians in Okuama.
