The Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has received affirmation from the Supreme Court regarding his election victory.
The court, in its judgment on Friday, January 12, stated that the appellants, Abubakar Sadique Baba and the All Progressives Congress (APC), were unable to substantiate their case.

Justice Ibrahim Saulawa, delivering the lead judgment, addressed the six identified issues in the appeal and ruled against the appellants. The court deemed the appeal without merit and subsequently dismissed it.
