Vacate EFCC headquarters immediately, Tinubu orders DSS amidst scuffle for official apartment
President Bola Tinubu has ordered Department of State Service (DSS) agents to vacate the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) headquarters in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Men from the DSS reportedly blocked access to the EFCC office, causing chaos in the surrounding area. It was determined that the dispute involved the ownership of the building.

According to reports, the DSS asserted that the contested office belongs to it, denying any interference with the EFCC’s duties while occupying a building that it owns.
In a statement released by his media aide, Tunde Rahman, Tinubu ordered the DSS to immediately vacate the disputed premises, stating that any dispute between government agencies should be resolved amicably.
“President Bola Tinubu has ordered the Department of State Security Service to vacate the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s office in Ikoyi, Lagos, immediately.

“The President issued the order after receiving word that DSS agents had stormed the EFCC office on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos on Tuesday, preventing anti-corruption agency employees from entering their workplace.
The statement reads, “The President stated that any disputes between the two major government agencies would be resolved amicably.”
