Addressing the transfer rumors at a press conference, Fernandes acknowledged the allure of being coveted but emphasized his happiness and dedication to his current position.

Bruno Fernandes Addresses Transfer Rumors In A Press Conference

“Being coveted is always good, regardless of the league and the club,” he told a press conference. “But my focus is on the national team and Manchester United, I’m happy where I am.

“In the national team, we are in a very good moment. At Manchester United, we didn’t start the way we wanted, but I don’t think about the long term.

“I don’t look much at market rumours, they’re things I’ve never wanted to see. Until the moment something concrete comes to me, I don’t care what I see. It’s very easy for rumors to spread in the press. I prefer to be focused on my goals.”

Despite Manchester United’s less-than-ideal start to the season, Bruno Fernandes expressed optimism and dismissed concerns about his future. “At Manchester United, we didn’t start the way we wanted, but I don’t think about the long term. I prefer to be focused on my goals.”

With Fernandes under contract at Old Trafford until 2026, the club is not under immediate pressure to entertain offers for their captain. The midfielder remains steadfast in his commitment, allowing the team to concentrate on their current objectives.

In addition to Fernandes, winger Jadon Sancho has also found himself on the Saudi Arabian radar. However, sources suggest that Sancho is not inclined towards a move to the Middle East at this stage in his career.

Amidst ongoing tensions with manager Erik ten Hag, Sancho’s representatives have emphasized their client’s preference for a top European league, with a potential return to Borussia Dortmund in the cards.

Despite the complexities of the deal, Sancho’s focus remains on securing a move that aligns with his aspirations.
