Six new Federal Commissioners for RMAFC have been sworn in.

President Muhammed Buhari has administered the oath of office to seven Federal Commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).

 

In a brief ceremony that preceded the Valedictory Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, the swearing-in of officials took place. Following this, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo presented the Health Reform Committee Report.

The Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) has welcomed its newly sworn-in Federal Commissioners.

The commission’s latest members comprise Mr. Peter Okpara from Imo, Senator Ayogu Eze from Enugu, Kolade Abimbola from Oyo, Rekiya Ayuba-Haruna from Kebbi, Hauwa Aliyu from Jigawa, Ismaila Agaka from Kwara, and Ambassador Ayuba Ngako from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Following the swearing-in ceremony, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo presented the Health Reform Committee’s report to President Buhari.

Vice President Osinbajo chaired a committee that was formed with the aim of creating a roadmap for the attainment of Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in Nigeria.

The committee has made a significant recommendation to increase funding for the health sector by over ten percent.

Following the presentation of the Health Reform Committee Report, President Buhari presided over the Valedictory Federal Executive Council meeting.

In what marks the final Council meeting for the Buhari administration, a full house was recorded as all ministers and other Cabinet members were present within the Council Chambers of the State House, the designated venue for the meeting.
