Tinubu has been told to carry his cross and leave President Buhari and the northern region alone.
The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Asiwaju Tinubu, has been cautioned against casting aspersions on President Muhammadu Buhari and the North by the Northern People Forum and Unit for the Enthronement of Democratic Ideals (NPFU).
It is important to remember that the previous governor of Lagos State has, on multiple times, criticized the current president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, while running for office.
In a statement that was released on Tuesday in Kaduna by the group’s national coordinator, Bar. Abdulwahab Kabir Magaji, Asiwaju Tinubu was urged to carry his cross alone and to leave Buhari and the North alone.
The group said:
“His intention to agitate the south west against the north would not work; rather, he should carry his cross by himself and leave Buhari and the people alone.” leadership This is what the group was cited as saying in the newspaper.
