Highlighting Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda, Kukah acknowledged that Nigerians have almost lost hope in a government genuinely caring for them. He urged the president to ignite hope, emphasizing the importance of ending partisanship and addressing the deep-seated issues rooted in corruption.

“Nigerians have lost hope in our politicians putting our interests first and dealing with the cancer of corruption. We want evidence we can see and touch,” Kukah urged, emphasizing the need for tangible actions rather than mere promises.

The bishop also called for an end to senseless killings, abductions, extortion, and kidnappings, stressing the restoration of the sacredness and sanctity of human life. He firmly stated that blasphemy laws have no place in a democracy, emphasizing the consequences of allowing distorted narratives to flourish.
