Cook-a-thon: CNN Features Hilda Baci, Applauds Her World Record Attempt
CNN has praised Hilda Baci, a Nigerian who has broken a world record.
This follows her being featured following her attempt to break the record for longest cooking time.
To break the record, she spent four days cooking.
Lata Tondon, a chef from India, was the first woman to hold the record for cooking the longest. She continuously prepared food for 87 hours and 45 minutes.
However, Hilda Baci broke the record by cooking for 100 hours, 55 recipes over 100 meals, and feeding more than 3000 individuals.
Social media users, particularly Nigerians, are eagerly awaiting Guinness World Records (GWR) to recognise Hilda Baci as the new record holder.
