Amaechi Shuns Tinubu’s Campaign Rally In Rivers State
Rotimi Amaechi, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress and the former governor of Rivers State, was absent as Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shetima, held a campaign rally in the state.
The former governor of Lagos state and APC leaders arrived at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium for the party’s presidential rally around 4 p.m.

Before approaching the podium, Tinubu danced and waved to the cheering crowd.
However, Amaechi was not spotted at the event, causing concern given that he is the leader of the APC in River State.
Since losing the party’s nomination for president, Amaechi has remained relatively quiet on the political scene, even in his home state.

Due to the party’s Muslim-Muslim ticket, there were rumors that the former governor is not working for Tinubu in his bid to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.
