Reactions to Seyi Tinubu’s Endorsement

Several Nigerians have taken to Twitter to express their displeasure and raise concerns about the endorsement.

Ben Samuel (@flourish007) expressed frustration, stating, “Poverty is truly a curse. Those serving the father are now preparing to serve the son. Many of these individuals, despite their education, remain foolish.”

Another user, @follow_etiosa, sarcastically remarked, “When captives embrace their captors, it’s called Stockholm Syndrome. But when captives embrace their captors’ children, what should we call it?”

A Twitter user, @iam_arinzona, questioned the formation of CONYL, stating, “When did they form (CONYL), who is the leader, across the six geopolitical zones? If they want to give Seyi Governor, let them give him. Let’s stop unnecessary lies and coalition. Seyi is not smart. He thinks Nigeria will forever revolve around his family.”

In a similar vein, Ben Samuel (@flourish007) again raised concerns about the involvement of youth groups from outside Lagos, asking, “Lagos State is in the Southwest, so why are youths from other geopolitical zones getting involved? The absurdity is baffling.”

Finally, @rmnd22 shared a sentiment that Lagos has turned into a “family business,” commenting, “Family business is now what Lagos State has turned to now.”
