On Monday, October 31, Ifeanyi drowned, eleven days after celebrating his third birthday.
Early on Saturday morning, speculation regarding Eniola’s detention began. According to a number of blogs, the actress phoned Ifeanyi’s nanny on the phone to divert her attention from the fact that the youngster had left the room for the pool.
Eniola was not detained, though, according to police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin, who spoke to newsmen.
The story is untrue; nothing such to it occurred, stated Hundeyin.

One of the first famous people to reveal the death of Ifeanyi in a mysterious letter was Eniola Badmus.
Nigerians flooded the comment area shortly after she published her article, accusing her of using the boy’s death to boost her reputation. Others felt that it was inappropriate to report a child’s death before receiving confirmation from the parents.
Eniola was compelled to remove the Instagram and Facebook post when things got out of hand.
On Thursday, the 38-year-old also drew criticism for uploading deleted videos regarding Ifeanyi’s passing to her YouTube page.
