QUALIFICATIONS

I.  PROFESSOR

The candidate should possess a PhD degree with at least Twelve (12) Researching and  Teaching Experience in a  University with at least (2) years as an Associate Professor.  Candidates must possess at least 25  scholarly publications in both local and international Journals as proof of specialisation in core areas of departmental fields of study.  Candidates must also have sufficient administrative experience.

(II) SENIOR LECTURER

As in (I) above, but with six  (6) years teaching and research experience in a University with at least two (2) years as a Lecturer I,  must have at least  18   Scholarly publications. Candidates must also have sufficient administrative experience.

(III ) LECTURER I

As in (I) above, but with three   (3) years teaching and research experience in a University with at least two (2) years as a Lecturer II,  must have at least 8   Scholarly publications.

(IV) LECTURER II

As in (I) above or a Master degree with three  (3) years teaching and research experience in a University with at least two (2) years as an Assistant Lecturer. Proof of Scholarly publications is an added advantage.

(V) ASSISTANT LECTURER

A First Degree not below Second Class Division plus Master Degree. Proof of research Scholarly publications is an added advantage.

Salaries and Allowances

Salaries and Allowances are as obtainable in Nigeria public service.
