Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has pledged a comprehensive investigation into the tragic demise of a medical doctor, Vwaere Diaso, who lost her life due to an elevator malfunction at the Doctors’ quarters of the General Hospital, Odan, Lagos Island.

He assured that the investigation would be conducted transparently and fairly, with no room for biases or favoritism.
“I felt profound sorrow upon learning about the tragic passing of Dr. Vwaere Diaso, a devoted medical practitioner whose life was tragically lost due to an elevator malfunction at the Doctor’s quarters of the General Hospital, Odan, Lagos Island.”

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late medical doctor, Vwaere Diaso, who tragically lost her life due to an elevator malfunction at the Doctors’ quarters of the General Hospital, Odan, Lagos Island.
Sanwo-Olu described the incident as devastating and immediately took action to initiate a thorough and transparent investigation into the cause of the mechanical failure.
He empathized with the grief of Dr. Diaso’s loved ones, expressing his deep sorrow over the loss of such a promising young doctor.

As a parent himself, the governor understood the pain and sorrow that the family, friends, and colleagues of Dr. Diaso must be going through during this difficult time.
He also offered his sympathies to the Medical Guild, the Nigeria Medical Association, the Medical Guild, and all doctors in Lagos State.
“I extend my heartfelt condolences. Losing a fellow healthcare professional is a significant loss for the entire medical community,” he stated.
