EFCC Arrests 80 PoS Vendors In Ondo
More than 80 Point of Sale (PoS) vendors in Akure, the state capital of Ondo, have been apprehended.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) agents arrested them for allegedly buying and selling money to individuals with higher interest rates.

The operation was conducted in the local government areas of Akure South and Akure North.
It was discovered that operators of point-of-sale systems were required to disclose the origin of the cash used in their businesses.
A source reported that some point-of-sale agents admitted to purchasing cash from banks and then charging their customers exorbitant rates.
According to the source, approximately 80 PoS attendants have been arrested in the Oja Oba region. If they approach you, they will demand that you disclose the source of your cash and the prices you are charging your customers, as well as take them to the source of the funds.
