EFCC Releases Photos Of Ekweremadu’s Forfeited Properties

Ekweremadu’s Forfeited Properties: Ike Ekweremadu has had certain properties confiscated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Now that Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered Ekweremadu, a former deputy Senate president, to forfeit 40 properties to the Federal government, the EFCC has made images of some of those properties available.

Ekweremadu’s Forfeited Properties 

It was previously reported that the anti-graft agency today obtained the order for the temporary confiscation of 40 landed properties connected to Ekweremadu, including nine in Dubai.

According to a statement from the EFCC, the affected properties forfeited include a London property at Flat 4, Varsity Court, Hormer Street (WIH4NW), which was purchased on December 4, 2008 for £830,000; three properties in Florida, one of which was purchased for $155,000 USD; and a property on a 3000 square metre parcel of land with a 7 bedroom detached boys’ quarters, a swimming pool, an enclosed 3-car garage with roller shutter doors, and a gate house.
