Feuding Tinubu, Arise TV owner meet to settle their differences
Nduka Obaigbena, the owner of This Day/Arise News Media Group, has attempted to make amends with Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for president in the 2023 election.
Recall that Obaigbena had claimed that the APC presidential campaign council had intimidated the media with blackmail.

Editors of THISDAY/Arise recently urged Tinubu to respond satisfactorily to questions regarding the circumstances surrounding the forfeiture of funds to the US government.
The news organisation advised journalists to thoroughly investigate any candidate who may be connected to alleged drug trafficking.
In addition, they charged that the APC campaign council had “silencing free speech” in response to negative reports.
The campaign council for the ruling party, in response, claimed that the founder of THISDAY owes taxes abroad and does not pay his employees on time.

The media mogul is determined to embarrass Tinubu, which they will not permit, according to the APC campaign.
However, a source has revealed that Obaigbena contacted Tinubu’s camp to try and end their “feud.”
“Obaigbena contacted Tinubu to resolve his conflict.
According to the source “They met at the home of former Ogun State Government, Chief Segun Osoba (former governor of Ogun State) to discuss how to de-escalate the problem.”
