Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have been placed in a difficult Group D alongside Brazil, Italy, and Dominican Republic for the upcoming 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
The Selecao team of Brazil, comprised of young players, has achieved victory in the competition on five separate occasions.

The Flying Eagles are expected to face a formidable challenge in FIFA U-20 World Cup against Italy, while the Dominican Republic will be making their inaugural debut in the competition.
The Flying Eagles secured the third position in the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations held in Egypt. Notably, they have reached the finals twice in the 1989 and 2005 editions.
Senegal, the champions of Africa, have been placed in Group C alongside Japan, Israel, and Colombia. Meanwhile, the Young Scorpions of Gambia will be participating in Group F, where they will be competing against France, Korea Republic, and Honduras.
Tunisia, one of the African representatives, has been placed in Group E alongside Uruguay, Iraq, and England.
The tournament is scheduled to take place in Argentina from May 20 to June 11.
