Five of 18 Political Parties Endorse Atiku For Presidency
Five of Nigeria’s 18 political parties have declared support for Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, ahead of the February 25 elections.

The announcement was made during the Saturday grand finale of the PDP’s presidential rally at Mahmud Ribadu Square in Yola, the state capital of Adamawa.
The parties consist of the Allied Peoples Movement, the African Democratic Congress, the National Rescue Movement, the Action Alliance, and the Action Peoples Party.

Yusuf Dantalle, national chairman of the APM, made the declaration on behalf of the parties.
The APM’s National Chairman adopted Atiku’s candidacy on Friday in place of Chichi Ojei, the party’s sole female presidential candidate in the 2023 election.
