On Monday, Senate President Godswill Akpabio disclosed the identities of the chairmen and vice-chairmen who will be leading the standing committees within the upper legislative chambers. This pivotal announcement was made on the heels of the Senate’s resumption from a break, commencing at 9:59 pm and concluding at 10:47 pm.
The Senate also adjourned plenary till September 26th for its long vacation.
In the list, Senator Adams Oshiomhole, APC, Edo North is chairing the Committee on Interior, Senator Sani Musa, APC, Niger East is Chairman, Committee on Finance; Senator Abdulfatai Buhari, APC, Oyo North chairs Committee on Aviation, Osita Izunaso, Committee on Capital Market, Seriake Dickson, Ecology; Neda Imasuen, LP, Edo South, Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions and Aminu Tambuwal, Housing.
