Governor Fubara Reshuffles Rivers Cabinet Amidst Political Turbulence
Fubara Conducts Surprise Cabinet Reshuffle in Rivers State.
Amidst the political turbulence engulfing Rivers State, Governor Siminalayi Fubara has conducted a reshuffle of his cabinet.
In a statement released on Tuesday night by the Secretary to the Rivers State Government, Dr. Tammy Danagogo, the Governor announced the redeployment of the Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General of the state, Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor, to the Ministry of Special Duties (Governor’s Office).

Additionally, Fubara reassigned the Commissioner for Finance, Isaac Kamalu, to the Ministry of Employment Generation and Economic Empowerment.
The Governor instructed both officials to promptly hand over their duties to their respective permanent secretaries.

He stated, “They are to hand over to their respective permanent secretaries immediately as this deployment takes immediate effect. All handover processes must be completed promptly”.
