Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has dismissed his Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties, Eruteyan Ejiro Eradajaye, following accusations linking him to the murder of Sam Ophie, a sand dealer in the Adagbrassa-Ugolo community.

Eradajaye, who also serves as the community’s chairman, was implicated after a confrontation with Ophie at a local sand beach escalated into violence. Reports indicate that Eradajaye’s loyalists allegedly assaulted and fatally stabbed Ophie during the altercation.
