Governor Wike donates bulletproof vans to Peter Obi as Labour Party presidential candidate storm Port Harcourt for rally
Governor Wike has allegedly donated bulletproof vans to Peter Obi.
Reactions have been voiced in the wake of the release of a video showing some vans that Nyesom Wike, the executive governor of Rivers State, said were bulletproof and had been used as security for Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, at a rally for the party in that state.
Wike Speaks On His Preferred Presidential Candidate
In preparation for the presidential election in 2023, Peter Obi, the candidate for the Labour Party, has been traveling from state to state to canvass the voters and ask for support, much like other presidential candidates from different political parties have been doing.
As a direct consequence of this, Peter Obi is currently attending the party’s presidential rally in Port Harcourt, which is located in the state of Rivers. Reports indicate that certain vans were made available to facilitate Peter Obi’s movement and campaign tour while he was in the state.
This was in fulfilment of a commitment made by Nyesom Wike, the executive governor of the state, to offer logistical support and assistance to Peter Obi.
Some users on social media replied to the video of the truck, which was getting a lot of attention online. Individuals have said that Governor Wike has always kept his promises, while others have said that if they had that kind of car, they wouldn’t ever need a house again.
This was something that was brought up by a number of people. Others discussed the potential costs associated with purchasing each van.
