NECO official killed as gunmen invade UI
It has been claimed that armed individuals broke into the staff quarters of the University of Ibadan and murdered a member of the National Examination Council named Vincent Odinko.
According to the information gathered by this online newspaper, Odinko, a resident of the university Staff building boys quarters, was murdered, and his electronic devices, which included mobile phones and a laptop, were stolen.

Reports making rounds claims that the incident took place in the middle of the night when the shooters broke into the BQ of a staff building where Odinko resided with his family.
At the time, Odinko was employed by NECO’s Ibadan branch as a member of the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination Internal Unit.

The police have not yet provided any details regarding the tragic event.
However, when reached by our correspondent, the Public Relations Officer for the Oyo State Police, Adewale Osifeso, stated that investigations had already begun to uncover the specifics of the incident.
