Hungary: Police Officer Dies From Stab Wounds
A man is accused of stabbing a police officer in Budapest to death on Thursday while he was attempting to elude capture.
A man was reportedly trying to enter a flat in District XI of the Hungarian capital at around 22:10 CET (21:10 GMT).

All of the injured police officers and the alleged attacker were taken to the hospital, where Peter Baumann, 29, died.

The officer, according to the Hungarian police, was district XI’s deputy and would have turned 30 next month.
To honor the officer, a black flag will be flown over police stations, and service vehicles will display a mourning ribbon.
Viktor Orban, the prime minister of Hungary, promised that the Baumann family would receive assistance from the state.
