Hoodlums Invade Meeting, Disrupt APC Event, Take Away PDP Defectors
Following the interruption of an APC Party event organized by a former youth leader, Obaro Matthew Jagogo, at Ward 10, there was unrest in the Aladja Community in the Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.
The criminals broke into the gathering and said that Jagogo owed them 400,000 naira.
They bundled Jagogo into a waiting car after telling the crowd of guests already seated that they had come only for him. They then brought down canopies.
They also chased the DJ away.
Before the occurrence, Comrade Jagogo had planned the event with the goal of defecting from the PDP to the All Progressives Congress for reasons that he knew well.
When the hoodlums stormed the area at Ekregware Quarters in the Aladja community, people like Collins Egbetamah, a House of Assembly candidate, Keston Okoro, and Williki were anticipated at the event.
Northern States Where APC May Not Gather Much Votes
When prompted for comment, Mr. Abeyi Lucky, the APC Ward 10 Chairman in the Aladja community, who was present and joining Jagogo on a commercial motorcycle, said, “It’s just a scene we didn’t expect.”
At the time of publication, there were worries that the episode would spark a conflict between the APC and the opposition in the community.
