David Umahi, the Governor Of Ebonyi State, revealed in an interview his opinion on Peter Obi’s presidential movement. He applauded him and said if his party does not win in the upcoming election, he would want Peter Obi to win, saying that his movement have shown that Igbos are accepted all over the country.

Quoting the governor, he said, “after the North have been in power for 8 good years, the only moral justice is for power to shift to the south. Being a loyal party member, I would want my party to win the election, but if it doesn’t happen, the next person I would like to win is Peter Obi.

Speaking further, the governor said that “Peter Obi is making the southeast proud, and he commends him for that because if he is not vying for presidency, the southeast may be forgotten.” He said that Peter Obi’s movement is an eye-opener to everyone, which shows that Igbos are accepted all over the country.
