IPMAN Calls Off Suspension Of Service, Directs Members To Resume Petrol Sale
To alleviate petrol scarcity across Nigeria, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has allocated gasoline directly to marketers.
The Independent Petroleum Marketers’ Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) disclosed the information on Tuesday.

The president, Chinedu Okoronkwo, stated that the order was issued following a meeting behind closed doors between both parties.
It was decided that IPMAN members should fuel up at NIPCO, MRS, and other designated depots.
For payment efficiency, however, the marketers were encouraged to upgrade their POS to G4 or G5 models.

“Members without POS are also advised to acquire one for efficiency,” Okoronkwo told the Nigerian News Agency (NAN) in Lagos.
Okonkwo urged Independent Petroleum Marketers’ Association of Nigeria divisions across the country to open their stations and commence sales.
Lawal Sade, NNPCL Managing Director, Adeyemi Adetunji, VP Downstream, Abdulkardir Aminu, IPMAN BoT Chair, and members of the executive committee attended the meeting.
